The Lindle Grigsby Leadership Award
History of Award
In 2012, representatives from TACTE, TACE and TCCIA created a leadership award to recognize one of their members that have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and dedication to at least one of the association. This leadership award is presented each fall at the Texas Community College Instructional Leadership (TCCIL) conference. This award was presented to Lindle Grigsby the first year for his many years of dedication and service to all three organizations.
Award Criteria
An individual who has demonstrated the following characteristics to at least one of the member associations of the Texas Community College Instructional Leadership Conference:

- Dedication to the association(s) through years of active service.
- Stewardship through the management of organization(s) resources
- Initiative and competence in accomplishing the goals and tasks of the association(s)
- Forethought in providing a vision for the future
- Mentorship to newer members of the association(s)
- Models Community College Instructional Leadership that inspires others.
